Watertown Sets Hearing to Mark 10 Years of Preservation Act

WATERTOWN — Watertown is marking the 10th anniversary of its Community Preservation Act with a public hearing at the Watertown Free Public Library, Watertown News reported this week.

The town has scheduled a hearing in the library's Watertown Savings Bank Room at 7 p.m. to mark a decade of the Community Preservation Act, a dedicated local funding source that Massachusetts communities can adopt to support projects such as affordable housing, historic preservation, and open space.
