Tyngsborough Conservation Commission Approves Kendall Road Wetland Crossing With Conditions

Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 26, 2026

Tyngsborough Conservation Commission approves driveway wetland crossing on Kendall Road with two-year monitoring requirement. The commission voted unanimously at its May 26 meeting to approve a notice of intent and major stormwater management permit for 116 Kendall Road, DEP No. 309-1043, allowing construction of an entrance driveway across a portion of bordering vegetated wetland, with plans dated May 1, 2026. Conservation Director Emilie Brush recommended, and the commission adopted, two special conditions: a qualified wetland scientist must attend the pre-construction site walk to review impacts and confirm invasive soil is not reused, and a professional wetland scientist must monitor the wetland replication area for two years and report results to the conservation director.

The commission also granted waivers from the 30-foot no-disturb and 50-foot no-build provisions of the Tyngsborough Wetlands Regulations for the construction period. A separate dock-replacement application at 212 Massa Park Road, filed by James Craven, received a standard order of conditions unanimously. The seven-lot Otis Woods subdivision hearing at 25 Ingalls Road and a wetland delineation matter for land off Dunstable Road filed by Charles George were both continued to June 9.
