Wayland Conservation Commission votes 6-0 to enter executive session on Cascade Development wetlands appeal. Chair Sean P. Fair opened the remote August 6 meeting and, after Conservation Administrator Linda Hansen read the justification into the record, made the required on-the-record determination that "the discussion in open session will have a detrimental effect to the Town's litigating position." The closed discussion concerned In the Matter of Cascade Development LLC, OADR Docket No.

WET 2024-0020, tied to DEP File No. 322-1000, an appeal pending before the state Office of Appeals and Dispute Resolution since 2024. Members Barbara Howell, Clifford Lewis, Jonathan Storer, Lisa Aubin, Shannon Fischer and Fair all voted yes on the roll call. The commission did not return to open session, and no public comment was taken.
