Littleton Conservation Commission issues Bluebird Farm order, presses developers on wetland fill. The commission voted 6-0 to close the hearing and issue an order of conditions for the Bluebird Farm animal-shelter project at 359 King Street, represented by Eric Smith of Goddard Consulting for owner Dwight Long. Engineer Chris Raymond of TEC told the board the King Street Common retail phase two project cut wetland buffer impacts from 6,057 to 4,900 square feet and fill from 2,640 to 1,961 cubic yards, saying "we heard you guys" on the fill concern, but member Edward Fultz said he remains "not in favor of the fill." The commission also approved a certificate of compliance for 9A Road, opened an enforcement question over unpermitted trees and buffer-zone stairs at 76 Hartwell Avenue, and continued hearings on the Spectacle Pond boat ramp rehabilitation and two boardwalk projects to August 18.
