Reading Bylaw Committee Unanimously Reappoints Louise to Three-Year Term

Other Committee · Meeting of June 8, 2026

Reading Bylaw Committee reappoints one member, leaves second seat open. The three-member panel voted unanimously, three to zero, at its June 8 meeting to reappoint Louise to a three-year term, the only candidate before the committee for either of its two open seats. Chair Jesse said Louise "has been a great asset to the committee" despite reduced attendance over the past year, which Louise attributed to difficult personal circumstances.

A second prospective candidate had been away and missed last week's meeting; no timeline was set for filling the remaining vacancy. The committee approved its prior meeting minutes by the same three-to-zero margin and plans to reconvene via Zoom sometime after the Fourth of July.
