Tewksbury Conservation Commission amended two enforcement orders and approved permits for an accessory dwelling unit and a commercial building. Property manager Rich Hooper must hire a third-party wetland scientist or file a full Notice of Intent to restore land at 53 Highland View Road and 265 Old Boston Road after clearing scrap metal and debris without permits. Owner representatives Gaurav Patel and Mihir must file a determination-of-applicability request with a vegetation plan for unpermitted landscaping at 2087 Main Street, intended for a future community center.
The board unanimously approved engineer Gene Sullivan's redesigned 600 Woburn Street commercial building, now 16,000 square feet, down from 21,000, after a Department of Environmental Protection-mandated 50-foot wetland setback. The chair said of the Main Street case, "I'm not super interested in who actually said what." All votes were unanimous.
