Stow Carries Level 3 Critical Drought Alert Into July Fourth Week

DATELINE: STOW

Stow carries a Level 3 Critical Drought designation into the final days of June, the most pressing standing notice on the town's radar as the holiday week begins.

TOWN HALL

The town's website continues to display a Level 3 Critical Drought alert — the second-highest tier under the Massachusetts drought management framework — and directs residents to the town's Drought Information webpage for current guidance. No new press releases or department announcements were issued in the past 24 to 48 hours.

The Conservation Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday, June 30, which could bring drought- or resource-related items to the table.
