Groton Select Board OKs 30-day warrant-signing authority

Groton Select Board renews 30-day warrant-signing authority, takes no other votes. The board unanimously authorized the town manager and one Select Board member to sign municipal warrants through mid-October. Members also received updates on fiscal year 2028 budget planning, the draft warrant for the 2026 Fall Town Meeting, and progress on the UMass Satellite Emergency Facility, none of which came to a vote.
