Crews begin safety work at Oak-Green-Greenwood intersection
WAKEFIELD — Town crews started safety upgrades at the Oak Street, Green Street and Greenwood Avenue intersection this week, while the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library rounded out its summer lineup with an author talk, a jazz night and a nature walk over the next several days.
TOWN HALL Work began July 13 to improve safety and traffic flow at the intersection of Oak Street, Green Street and Greenwood Avenue, the town announced in a News Flash post. COMMUNITY & ARTS The Beebe Library's summer programming continues this week. Bestselling author Reyna Grande discusses her new memoir, "Migrant Heart: Essays About Things I Can't Forget," in a virtual talk Thursday, July 16, at 2 p.m.; registration is open for residents who want to submit questions.
