Littleton preservation panel re-elects Mueller, reshuffles vice chair and clerk roles

Littleton's Community Preservation Committee reorganized its leadership and previewed a wave of fall funding requests. Members unanimously re-elected Carolyn Mueller as chair, then swapped Timothy Wanzer and Andrew Sammarco between the vice chair and clerk posts. The committee voted to pay $2,875 in Community Preservation Coalition dues for fiscal 2027.

Bartlett Harvey said the Affordable Housing Trust may seek roughly $250,000 toward an 86-unit affordable senior housing project planned for the former Conant-Houghton Mill at 410 Great Road, developed by the Lupoli Companies with nonprofit partner Hebrew Senior Life. Members also weighed rescinding a stalled 2024 dock grant after Park and Recreation liaison Robert Rounce cited 100 dock violations found on Long Lake by the Conservation Commission, and Mueller warned against the committee becoming "the sole funding source" for lake cleanup work.
