LITTLETON — The Littleton Community Preservation Committee previewed its roughly $1.2 million Special Town Meeting warrant ahead of the October 27 vote. Members discussed how to present the Fay Park gazebo project to voters and debated whether an image of the gazebo might help or hurt public perception. Clerk Andrew Sammarco said the voting process would likely mirror how the town handles operational budget line items, with the moderator potentially allowing holds on individual articles.
The committee also flagged that an affordable-housing bonding article will require a two-thirds vote, and that it has not yet heard from Town Counsel on a pending Affordable Housing Trust grant agreement. Minutes from the committee's September 16 and September 23 meetings were approved by unanimous roll call, 5-0. The committee's next meeting is scheduled for November 18.
