Zoning Board Votes 5-0 to Close Meeting
Zoning Board · Meeting of September 29, 2026
Arlington's Zoning Board of Appeals closed its September 29 meeting after a single procedural vote. Chair Christian Klein, Co-Chair Patrick Hanlon, members Venket Holi and Adam LeBlanc, and Associate Member Nick Rosenberg voted 5-0 by roll call to enter executive session over litigation filed against the board and its members; Member Roger DuPont was absent. Klein cited Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30A, Section 21(a)(3), saying open discussion "would have detrimental effects to the litigation position of the board." Town Counsel Michael Cunningham and Clerk Colleen Ralston attended.
The board adjourned directly from the closed session without returning to public session, disclosing no details of the underlying case.
