Woburn Little League crowns its 2026 city champions and calls for 2027 board volunteers.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Woburn Little League capped its spring season by naming the 2026 City Champions, posting on its website June 29: "Congratulations to all the 2026 Woburn Little League Spring Season City Champions!" The league had announced its District Teams and their schedules the day before, on June 30.

Looking ahead, the league's Board of Directors issued a Notice of Annual Meeting on July 14, saying it is "now accepting volunteers for the 2027 Board." A day earlier, on July 13, the league promoted its Jimmy Fund Baseball fundraiser under the banner "Help Strike Out Cancer."

On the diamond, the league's schedule lists an upcoming Summer 12U matchup between the Winthrop Vikings and the Woburn Tanners on Aug. 4 at 6:15 p.m. at Gonsalves Park.

In hockey, Woburn Youth Hockey's website shows registration open for the 2026-2027 season, including its Learn to Skate program and City League. The organization's most recent posted news item, from June 24, confirmed "Learn To Skate - REGISTRATION OPEN."
