WALTHAM --
YOUTH LEAGUES
Waltham Youth Hockey announced this week that Robby Glantz Power Skating will return to Veterans Memorial Rink in Waltham for a three-day clinic running Monday, Sept. 14, through Wednesday, Sept. 16. Sessions will run from 5 to 8:50 p.m. each day, divided into age-appropriate groups that will be assigned the week before the clinics begin, according to the organization. Spots are limited at each age level.
Glantz has worked with Waltham Youth Hockey's travel skaters for more than five years and has instructed professional and amateur players around the world for more than two decades, the organization said. Waltham Youth Hockey described the sessions as "fun, engaging, grueling and extremely helpful," and said the clinic focuses on enhancing stride power, edge technique and overall skating speed and agility rather than teaching beginner skating skills.
