Tyngsborough ZBA continues Kendall Road senior campus review to Sept. 10

Town News Brief _ · Meeting of August 17, 2026

Tyngsborough zoning board delays decision on 202-unit senior campus to September 10. The Zoning Board of Appeals heard from developer Wingate Living and nearby residents Thursday on a proposed continuing care campus at 84 Kendall Road, with concerns raised over building height, traffic and emergency access; the board continued its review to September 10, and the project also goes before the Planning Board Thursday. Elsewhere, the Dracut Water Supply District's water main replacement work continues to bring detours near Lakeview Avenue, Lawrence, Parham and Long Pond roads, though the town says local access, school buses, emergency vehicles and trash collection will continue.

The town is also seeking a resident to fill a Board of Library Trustees vacancy through next May's election, with letters of interest due to the Town Manager's Office. Tyngsborough marks America's 250th tonight at 6 p.m. at the First Parish Meeting House, with State Rep. Colleen Gary and State Sen.
