Sudbury Sets July 13 Start For Annual Road Paving Project
Twelve Sudbury roads are slated for repaving starting next week as part of the town's 2026 annual paving project, with work set to begin Monday, July 13.

The Department of Public Works announced that Sunshine Paving will begin work Monday, July 13, on the town's 2026 Annual Paving Project, according to the town's News Flash. Residents on or near affected streets should expect construction activity and possible access disruptions as the work gets underway.
SCHOOLS
The Sudbury Public Schools district posted its School Committee Agenda Packet for the July 6, 2026 meeting, along with an updated projected enrollment figure as of July 1, 2026, and the meeting notice and agenda for that same July 6 session. The School Committee's next regular meetings are scheduled for July 20 and July 27, with location and time for the latter still to be determined.
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School's website noted it has migrated to a new site design, with content still being transferred; no new announcements affecting Sudbury families were posted in the past day.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Sudbury Senior Center is opening registration for its July and August "Sudbury Scene" programming. Non-fitness activity registration for residents began July 1, with non-residents able to register beginning July 2; Summer I fitness classes started the week of July 6. The Senior Center also announced that the Friends of the Sudbury Senior Citizens, Inc. was named one of 140 nonprofits nationally to receive a Cummings Foundation grant, with the Sudbury organization receiving $225,000 as part of the foundation's $25 million grant program. Additionally, the center's weekly "Sudbury Eats" lunch program continues Tuesdays at noon, offering a home-cooked meal with no monthly limit on sign-ups.
