YOUTH LEAGUES -- Stow Youth Baseball (SYB) announced that Fall Ball registration is open to players ages 6 through 18, accepting both individual players and full teams, according to the organization's website.

SYB also issued an urgent appeal for Bingo volunteers, calling the event "our major fundraiser" and warning that "if we don't have volunteers then bingo will have to be cancelled and cause us to increase registration prices." The organization said volunteer support keeps registration prices low and helps maintain SYB's fields.

Separately, SYB said it is seeking volunteers for concession-stand opportunities, according to the website.
