Lexington Select Board clears firefighters union pact and eight-item consent slate in brief remote session. Deputy Town Manager Kelly Axtell told the board the memorandum of understanding, reached through the state's Joint Labor Management Committee mediation process, brings firefighter pay to "the 75th market percentile, which is consistent with the compensation goal established by the Select Board." The union had already ratified the deal. Chair Joseph N.

Hai voted 4-0 by roll call to approve the consent agenda, which also authorized a builder's risk insurance contract for the Lexington High School building project, a Battle Green use request for the Lexington Minutemen, two one-day liquor licenses, a Vision for Lexington committee reappointment for Robert Creech, and acceptance of Rachel Levy's resignation from the Human Rights Committee. Vice Chair Vineeta A. Kumar was unavailable and did not vote.

No public comment was offered.
