Reading Lacrosse Association's Summer Sixes program remains open for registration as its season runs into its final week.

READING -- Registration for the Reading Lacrosse Association's 2026 Summer Sixes season is open, according to the organization's website. The program consists of one-hour sessions held two days a week, on either Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday nights, at Reading Memorial High School, running from June 8 through July 30 -- putting the program in its closing week during this period.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Each session includes approximately 30 minutes of skills and drills work followed by a 30-minute Sixes-style lacrosse game, per the Reading Lacrosse Association. The group describes Sixes lacrosse as "a fast paced 5v5 lacrosse, with a goalie and limited face-offs at the start of the quarters," adding that the format gives players "an up and down game with lots of touches." The association says space is limited and encourages prompt sign-up, noting the program can also serve as extra practice and exposure for players interested in trying out for Select next year.
