PEPPERELL — June 9, 2026 — Pepperell Conservation Commission issues four compliance certificates and approves two new orders of conditions at long June 9 meeting. The commission opened by unanimously passing a resolution honoring Ingrid Beatty, PhD, JD, who served 19 years before resigning May 15, 2026, with Chair John Kiernan crediting her bioscience expertise as operationally "irreplaceable." The board issued certificates of compliance for 1365 Canton Avenue (both landscape and septic components), 5 Cabery Lane, and — with Kiernan recused due to a financial conflict — 214-216 Unquity Road, where a 2000 drainage order had gone unclosed for 26 years following DCR's 2015 intersection reconstruction. New orders of conditions passed 4-0 for 27 Brook Hill Road (requiring a Cultec stormwater chamber) and 1387 Brush Hill Road (requiring 295 inches of tree-replacement DBH and a closed pool filtration system).
