Peckham Named Marlborough's New Assistant Fire Chief

MARLBOROUGH — Mayor J. Christian Dumais announced the promotion of Battalion Chief Michael Peckham to Assistant Fire Chief of Operations, filling the position left vacant by former Chief Gogan, while the city also welcomed a new ambulance provider this week.

TOWN HALL

Mayor Dumais said Peckham's elevation reflects his long record of service with the Marlborough Fire Department. Marlborough Patch also reported on the appointment this week, framing it as a leadership shift for a department veteran.

Separately, Mayor Dumais's office announced that Coastal Medical Transportation Systems will become the city's new provider of emergency ambulance services, taking over the contract for 911 medical transport in Marlborough.
