Littleton Wins $96,690 Grant to Relaunch Regional Transportation Programs

LITTLETON — The CrossTown Connect Transportation Management Association has been awarded a $96,690 grant to relaunch regional transportation programs, the town announced, as officials also touted a new accessibility grant and continued progress on long-term retiree benefit planning.

The town did not specify which programs will resume or on what timeline.

The town also announced a separate grant award tied to an initiative called "Advancing Accessibility in Littleton," though officials did not disclose the funding amount or specific projects it will support. Separately, the town highlighted a new Massachusetts OPEB (other post-employment benefits) summary report, saying Littleton "continues strong progress on long-term financial planning" for retiree benefit obligations. The town also posted a notice on in-person early voting for the State Primary, and released its July 2026 town newsletter.

Residents should expect delays around the Shattuck Street traffic island starting Monday, July 20, as the town begins work there, according to a News Flash advisory.
