Hopkinton Town Hall and Library close Thursday and Friday for Independence Day

**Thursday, July 2 (all day)** — Hopkinton Town Hall and all municipal offices — including the Hopkinton Public Library and the Hopkinton Senior Center — are closed today and Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Curbside trash pickup runs on its normal schedule with no delay.

**Thursday, July 2 – Sunday, July 5 (all day)** — The Hopkinton Public Library extends its holiday closure through the weekend, remaining shut Thursday through Sunday. Regular hours resume Monday, July 6, when the library reopens at 9 a.m. Residents should note that the library is closed on Sundays throughout the summer season, running from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

**Monday, July 6, 3:00 p.m.** — When the library reopens after the holiday weekend, teens can head straight to the CreatorSpace for a YA CreatorSpace Crafternoon, running from 3 to 5 p.m. in the CreatorSpace Classroom.

**Monday, July 6, 5:30 p.m.** — Drop-In CreatorSpace Hours follow the afternoon teen session, open to visitors from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the CreatorSpace Classroom.

**Tuesday, July 7, 10:00 a.m.** — Baby & Toddler Storytime returns to the Children's Programming Room from 10 to 10:45 a.m., the first children's program back after the holiday break.

**Tuesday, July 7, 4:00 p.m.** — Chess Club meets in the Children's Programming Room from 4 to 5 p.m.

**Tuesday, July 7, 5:30 p.m.** — Drop-In CreatorSpace Hours run again Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the CreatorSpace Classroom.
