Hopkinton closes Town Hall and library for Independence Day through July 5

**Friday, July 3** — Town Hall, all municipal offices, the Hopkinton Public Library, and the Hopkinton Senior Center are closed today in observance of Independence Day. The closures extend through the holiday weekend, with the library also remaining closed Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, as part of its regular summer policy of no Sunday hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

**Friday, July 3** — Curbside trash pickup runs on its normal schedule today despite the holiday closure of town offices. Residents should set out bins as usual — no delay is in effect.

**Monday, July 6, 9:00 a.m.** — The Hopkinton Public Library reopens to the public at 9 a.m. after its four-day Independence Day closure. Regular summer hours resume: Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

**Monday, July 6, 3:00–5:00 p.m.** — The library's YA CreatorSpace Crafternoon returns to the CreatorSpace classroom, offering teens a drop-in afternoon of hands-on making.

**Monday, July 6, 5:30–7:30 p.m.** — Drop-In CreatorSpace Hours are also available Monday evening in the CreatorSpace classroom for anyone who wants to work on a project.

**Tuesday, July 7, 10:00–10:45 a.m.** — Baby & Toddler Storytime is scheduled in the Children's Programming Room at the library.

**Tuesday, July 7, 4:00–5:00 p.m.** — Chess Club meets in the Children's Programming Room.

**Tuesday, July 7, 5:30–7:30 p.m.** — A second evening of Drop-In CreatorSpace Hours runs Tuesday in the CreatorSpace classroom.

**Tuesday, July 7, 6:00–7:30 p.m.** — The Scrabble Group and Mahjong Group gather in the Betty Strong Room (Large Event Room) at the library.
