FRAMINGHAM — The Community Preservation Committee approved an earlier application timeline for the next funding cycle on a 9-0 roll call. CPC Coordinator Heather walked members through slides for the June 15 public hearing, which list $2.8 million in estimated fiscal 2027 funds. Members debated how long applicants should have to fix incomplete submissions and whether eligibility forms should open July 1.
One member said the process should be "a partnership." Another cautioned against deadlines so tight that applicants arrive with incomplete applications. Members also learned that the Conservation Commission had halted work on the Washakum Beach dock. The committee approved the March 16 and March 23 minutes and put off the final policy vote until May 18.
