Lexington Conservation Commission orders full restoration at 24 Turning Mill Road, then splits 4-1-1 on 55 Ivan Street. The commission voted 7-0 for "Option A," requiring a halted garage project to be torn back down to its originally approved 2025 grades rather than accept a more complex permeable-paver redesign; commissioner Kevin Mutel said he didn't want to "pursue option B" only to find "the commission's not satisfied." Later, commissioner Tom Olivier's 55 Ivan Street proposal to shift a new house 15 feet to clear the wetland buffer split the board 4-1-1, with member Hope Dunn abstaining, after colleagues said raising it post-hearing was procedurally unfair to the applicant. The dispute pushed Mutel to call for a written framework for buffer-zone waivers.
Six other hearings, including a wheelchair-accessible garage at 213 East Street, were continued to September 29.
