Bedford Recreation's Springs Brook Park remains open for the summer season, with membership and swim lesson registration underway.

TOWN -- Bedford Recreation Department's Springs Brook Park is running its 2026 season, and the department says "Membership registration and swim lessons are now open either online or at the Recreation Department." The department notes that starting June 19, swim lesson sign-ups must be done directly at Springs Brook Park rather than online. Registration also remains open for the department's Summer Adventures and Spring/Summer youth and adult programs; the department says families should join the wait list if a program is full and it will "do our best to accommodate." The Recreation Department, at 12 Mudge Way, also directs residents with weather questions about KA Tennis programming to a cancellation hotline at 781-275-7907. The department's website lists the town's youth sports organizations as Bedford Youth Soccer, Babe Ruth Baseball, Lexington-Bedford Youth Hockey, Bedford Youth Lacrosse, Bedford Travel Basketball and the United Cricket League, noting that apart from Bedford Youth Soccer, those groups are not affiliated with Bedford Recreation.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Bedford Youth Soccer announced that its "Fall 2026 Travel Soccer Uniform Store is now open," according to a post on the organization's website.
