TOWN -- The Wilmington Recreation Department has announced that its Fall 2026 edition of the "Recreation Matters" newsletter is now available, according to the department's website. The department directs residents to its site for "program updates, weather cancellations, etc." The Recreation Commission's next scheduled meeting is set for September 3, 2026 at 5 p.m., per the town's posted agenda; commission meetings are typically held the first Thursday of the month, except in July and August. The department is led by Recreation Director Brett Sawin and Program Coordinator Brianna Harrison.
