YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Nashoba Youth Hockey Association has opened registration for the 2026-2027 season, according to the organization's website. Nashoba Youth Hockey describes itself as the recreational youth hockey program serving Westford, Littleton, Tyngsboro and surrounding areas, with an approach aligned to the American Development Model philosophy that emphasizes building "good citizens, then good athletes and, ultimately, good hockey players." The program's teams include PeeWee 1, PeeWee 2, Girls U8/U10, Mite 1, Mite 2, Squirt 1, and goalie clinics for the 2026-2027 season.

The association's board of directors is scheduled to meet Sept. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westford Police Department's EOC Room, 53 Main St.
