Sunday, August 23, 5:34 p.m. — Hit and Run: A vehicle parked on Massachusetts Avenue was struck and damaged; the driver fled the scene.
Sunday, August 23, 5:50 p.m. — Larceny: An unknown individual stole someone's keys on Eighth Street.
Sunday, August 23, 5:52 p.m. — Package Theft: A package containing $481 in merchandise was stolen from the front of a residence on Massachusetts Avenue.
Sunday, August 23, 9:46 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, following a traffic stop on Harvard Street.
Sunday, August 23, 11:37 p.m. — Assault and Battery: A bar employee at a Central Square business on Massachusetts Avenue was physically assaulted by three patrons who had been asked to leave.
Monday, August 24, 12:46 a.m. — Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon: An unknown individual drove past a Massachusetts Avenue business and threw eggs at customers.
Monday, August 24, 3:43 a.m. — Malicious Destruction of Property: An individual at a Memorial Drive business was reported pushing items off a counter and breaking them.
Monday, August 24, 3:55 a.m. — Threats: At Green Street and Western Avenue, an unknown individual made verbal threats to shoot a victim.
Monday, August 24, 8:00 a.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle and lock valued at $200 were stolen from a bike rack on Windsor Street.
Monday, August 24, 9:17 a.m. — Assault and Battery: On Sciarappa Street, a victim reported their neighbor spit on their face after kicking them and breaking their phone.
Monday, August 24, 9:20 a.m. — Crash, Cyclist Injured: A crash involving a cyclist on Massachusetts Avenue resulted in no reported injuries; the motorist was cited.
Monday, August 24, 9:36 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $200 of merchandise from a Main Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Monday, August 24, 11:31 a.m. — Arrest: Salim Aboutaan, 41, of Stoughton, was arrested on Massachusetts Avenue on two active warrants out of Boston District Court.
Monday, August 24, 11:50 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Vandalism: On Willow Street, a vehicle's windshield was broken and two left tires were punctured.
Monday, August 24, 2:55 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $568.83 of merchandise from a Main Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Monday, August 24, 3:11 p.m. — Larceny: A duffle bag containing approximately $500 was stolen from a bus stop on Massachusetts Avenue.
Monday, August 24, 5:26 p.m. — Disturbance: A fight was reported outside a Massachusetts Avenue business; all involved fled before officers arrived.
Monday, August 24, 6:55 p.m. — Arrest: Charles Darcy, 59, of Cambridge, was arrested on Green Street and charged with Possession of a Class B Substance, Subsequent Offense, after officers observed him in possession of a white, rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine.
Monday, August 24, 7:09 p.m. — Robbery: A victim reported their rideshare driver took their phone and added an unauthorized $30 tip to their fare on Sixth Street.
Monday, August 24, 7:31 p.m. — Assault and Battery: An unknown individual pushed a victim to the ground on JFK Street.
Monday, August 24, 9:22 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a backyard on Sargent Street.
Monday, August 24, 10:20 p.m. — Hit and Run: A vehicle was struck in traffic on Main Street; no injuries were reported.
Monday, August 24, 10:50 p.m. — Hit and Run: A vehicle was struck in traffic on Rindge Avenue; no injuries were reported.
Monday, August 24, 10:56 p.m. — Larceny: A suspect stole $1,762 of merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Tuesday, August 25, 8:25 a.m. — Breaking and Entering: An unknown individual broke through a boarded-up window at a Camp Street property and stole $4,000 in materials.
Tuesday, August 25, 8:59 a.m. — Crash, Cyclist Injured: A cyclist at Main Street and Portland Street fell while trying to avoid pedestrians, sustaining minor injuries.
Tuesday, August 25, 10:46 a.m. — Shoplifting Summons: A Newton resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise after stealing $65.61 of goods from a Massachusetts Avenue business.
Tuesday, August 25, 11:09 a.m. — Retail Theft: A suspect stole $666.96 of merchandise from a Somerville Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Tuesday, August 25, 11:54 a.m. — Arrest: Matthew A. Marujo, 32, of Somerville, was arrested on Massachusetts Avenue on a warrant out of Brookline District Court.
Tuesday, August 25, 12:14 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $400 of merchandise from a Somerville Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Tuesday, August 25, 1:26 p.m. — Crash, Multi-Vehicle: A multi-vehicle crash inside a parking garage on Mt. Auburn Street resulted in two persons evaluated by EMS for minor injuries.
Tuesday, August 25, 1:37 p.m. — Arrest: Laquan Holland, 40, of Cambridge, was arrested on Sixth Street and charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Subsequent Offense.
Tuesday, August 25, 3:49 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle valued at $300 was stolen from outside a residence on Western Avenue.
Tuesday, August 25, 4:50 p.m. — Larceny: A bag containing important documents valued at approximately $1,000 was stolen on Rindge Avenue.
Tuesday, August 25, 5:05 p.m. — Crash, Cyclist Injured: A cyclist at Oxford Street and Wendell Street sustained minor injuries in a crash.
Tuesday, August 25, 9:02 p.m. — Vehicle Break-In: A vehicle parked on Massachusetts Avenue was broken into; items valued at $900 were stolen. The victim resides on Lakeview Avenue.
Wednesday, August 26, 7:34 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Vandalism: A tire on a motor vehicle was slashed while parked outside a residence on Gold Star Road.
Wednesday, August 26, 8:08 a.m. — Arrest: Cheryl Tucker, 56, of Cambridge, was arrested on Massachusetts Avenue at Temple Street on three warrants out of Cambridge District Court.
Wednesday, August 26, 8:56 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A vehicle parked outside a residence on Fernald Drive was stolen.
Wednesday, August 26, 9:30 a.m. — Crash, Pedestrian Injured: A pedestrian at Pacific Street and Purrington Street sustained minor injuries; the motorist was cited for Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian in a Crosswalk.
Wednesday, August 26, 10:24 a.m. — Crash, Scooter: A scooter crash on Cambridge Street left one person with minor injuries.
Wednesday, August 26, 10:28 a.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle valued at $1,200 was stolen from a bike rack in front of a residence on Massachusetts Avenue.
Wednesday, August 26, 11:29 a.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle valued at $300 was stolen from the lobby of a residence on Plymouth Street.
Wednesday, August 26, 11:47 a.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck and damaged on River Street; the driver fled the scene.
Wednesday, August 26, 11:51 a.m. — Identity Fraud: A victim on Irving Street reported wiring $1,000 toward a bill; the vendor later confirmed the payment was never received.
Wednesday, August 26, 11:51 a.m. — Assault and Battery: An argument between neighbors at a Lambert Street residence turned physical; minor injuries were reported.
Wednesday, August 26, 12:16 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $90 of merchandise from a Somerville Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, August 26, 12:24 p.m. — Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon: At a Cambridge Street medical facility, a patient kicked another patient who was receiving treatment, causing minor injuries.
Wednesday, August 26, 12:58 p.m. — Vehicle Break-In: A vehicle parked on Clay Street was broken into; items valued at approximately $200 were stolen.
Wednesday, August 26, 1:05 p.m. — Suspicious Package: An unattended package at Arlington Street and Massachusetts Avenue was inspected by the Explosive Ordnance Unit (EOD) and determined not to be hazardous.
Wednesday, August 26, 1:27 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle valued at $2,800 was stolen from outside a residence on Franklin Street.
Wednesday, August 26, 4:45 p.m. — Package Theft: A package containing $107.85 in merchandise was stolen from the front of a residence on Bishop Allen Drive.
Wednesday, August 26, 4:46 p.m. — Disturbance: An argument among several people on Lambert Street turned physical; no injuries were reported.
Wednesday, August 26, 4:47 p.m. — Crash: A motor vehicle and a stand-up scooter collided at Massachusetts Avenue and Russell Street; no injuries were reported.
Wednesday, August 26, 5:06 p.m. — Arrest: Robert Templehof, 57, of Boston, was arrested at a Massachusetts Avenue business and charged with Shoplifting by Concealment and Trespassing after entering a store from which he had previously been banned and stealing $29 of merchandise.
Wednesday, August 26, 5:41 p.m. — Package Theft: A package containing $200 in merchandise was stolen from the front of a residence on Rockingham Street.
Wednesday, August 26, 5:43 p.m. — Arrest: Kenneth Davila, 60, of Worcester, was arrested at a Massachusetts Avenue business and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation after stealing $24 of merchandise.
Wednesday, August 26, 6:01 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A vehicle parked near a residence on Concord Avenue was stolen.
Wednesday, August 26, 6:28 p.m. — Fraud/Scam: A victim on Charles Street was scammed out of $2,500 by individuals impersonating their bank.
Wednesday, August 26, 8:57 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $5.98 of merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business and fled before officers arrived.
Wednesday, August 26, 10:12 p.m. — Shoplifting Summons: A Jamaica Plain resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Concealment after stealing $126.17 of merchandise from a Massachusetts Avenue business.
Wednesday, August 26, 10:57 p.m. — Robbery: At Holyoke Street and Massachusetts Avenue, a known suspect smashed a victim's cell phone, punched them multiple times, and stole their electric scooter; the victim declined medical assistance.
Thursday, August 27, 3:44 a.m. — Larceny: An unknown individual stole a backpack valued at $32 on Massachusetts Avenue near Bigelow Street.
Thursday, August 27, 6:41 a.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $149.68 of merchandise from an Alewife Brook Parkway business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, August 27, 7:39 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Vandalism: A rear left tire was slashed on a vehicle parked on Gold Star Road.
Thursday, August 27, 8:16 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Vandalism: Both passenger-side tires of a vehicle were slashed on Brookline Street near Pilgrim Street.
Thursday, August 27, 9:47 a.m. — Threats: Past threats to commit a crime were reported at a Massachusetts Avenue business.
Thursday, August 27, 9:51 a.m. — Malicious Destruction: The ignition of a moped on Chestnut Street was damaged, as though someone had attempted to break into it.
Thursday, August 27, 9:54 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Boston resident was issued a criminal application for allowing an unregistered and uninsured vehicle to remain parked on a public street on Norfolk Street.
Thursday, August 27, 11:16 a.m. — Larceny: An electric scooter valued at $150 was stolen from a bike rack on Massachusetts Avenue near Pearl Street.
Thursday, August 27, 11:55 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Vandalism: An individual drove through a garage exit gate on Cambridgepark Drive, rendering it inoperable.
Thursday, August 27, 12:38 p.m. — Robbery with Assault: On Salem Street, a suspect forcefully took a victim's cell phone and bag; the victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Thursday, August 27, 12:52 p.m. — Firearm Summons: A Dorchester resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Improper Storage of a Firearm after leaving a gun unattended in a bag at a Memorial Drive business.
Thursday, August 27, 12:56 p.m. — Arrest: Creston Mills, 46, unhoused, and Christina Markunas, 50, unhoused, were both arrested at a Massachusetts Avenue business and charged with Shoplifting by Concealment; both also had active warrants. Mills had one active warrant out of Stoughton District Court. Markunas had four active warrants out of Stoughton, Roxbury, Dorchester, and Brookline District Courts. A store employee reported the pair stole $400 of merchandise.
Thursday, August 27, 1:07 p.m. — Robbery: At a Cambridge Street business, a suspect physically assaulted an employee and stole multiple beverages from a refrigerator.
Thursday, August 27, 1:22 p.m. — Assault and Battery Summons: A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Assault and Battery after allegedly pushing a neighbor during an argument on Huron Avenue.
Thursday, August 27, 1:35 p.m. — Shoplifting: A suspect stole $1,016 of merchandise from a Brattle Street business and fled before officers arrived.
Thursday, August 27, 1:57 p.m. — Larceny: A known individual stole approximately $2,140 in items from a residence on Massachusetts Avenue.
Thursday, August 27, 3:11 p.m. — Shoplifting Summons: A North Attleboro resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation after stealing $202 of merchandise from an Alewife Brook Parkway business.
Thursday, August 27, 3:58 p.m. — Hit and Run, Cyclist: A bicycle was struck in traffic at Forest Street and Oxford Street; no injuries were reported.
Thursday, August 27, 8:27 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle valued at $200 was stolen from a backyard on Massachusetts Avenue.
Thursday, August 27, 8:50 p.m. — Assault and Battery: On Flagg Street, a known individual grabbed a victim by the shirt and pushed them during an argument.
Thursday, August 27, 9:27 p.m. — Credit Card Fraud: A backpack was stolen on Mt. Auburn Street; an unknown individual subsequently made unauthorized credit card transactions totaling $301.78.
Friday, August 28, 12:05 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Summons: A Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle following a traffic stop at Brattle Street and Fresh Pond Parkway.
Friday, August 28, 1:54 a.m. — Disturbance: An argument between acquaintances on Rindge Avenue turned physical; no injuries were reported.
Friday, August 28, 8:13 a.m. — Malicious Destruction: An unhoused individual destroyed drywall inside a building on JFK Street.
Friday, August 28, 8:38 a.m. — Crash, Cyclist Injured: On Portland Street, a cyclist was passed closely by a truck and fell, sustaining minor injuries; the motorist was cited.
Friday, August 28, 9:20 a.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck and damaged on Walden Square Road; the driver fled the scene.

Saturday, August 29, 2:01 p.m. — Fraud/Scam: A Cambridge resident on Massachusetts Avenue reported being scammed while attempting to obtain a loan.
Saturday, August 29, 2:13 p.m. — Malicious Destruction: Patio furniture at a Brattle Street business was defaced.
Saturday, August 29, 3:59 p.m. — Arrest: Adam Strang, 38, of Cambridge, was arrested at Inman Street and Massachusetts Avenue on a warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
Saturday, August 29, 4:08 p.m. — Larceny: A debit card and cash were stolen from inside a Massachusetts Avenue business.
Saturday, August 29, 4:43 p.m. — Bicycle Theft: A bicycle and helmet valued at $570 were stolen from a bike rack inside the front gate of a residence on Massachusetts Avenue.
Saturday, August 29, 6:22 p.m. — Crash, Cyclist Injured: A cyclist at Main Street and Vassar Street sustained minor injuries; the motorist was cited.
Saturday, August 29, 6:49 p.m. — Crash, Pedestrian Injured: A pedestrian on Cambridge Street sustained minor injuries in a crash.
Saturday, August 29, 9:44 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Vandalism: A vehicle on Concord Avenue was reported scratched on multiple occasions.

Sunday, August 30, 12:09 a.m. — Assault and Battery: On Brattle Street, a person was struck in the face while attempting to break up a fight.
Sunday, August 30, 2:24 a.m. — Hit and Run: A parked vehicle was struck and damaged on Main Street; the driver fled the scene.
Sunday, August 30, 2:38 a.m. — Assault and Battery: On Third Street, a victim was physically assaulted by an unknown individual, suffering a cut to the head; the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Sunday, August 30, 3:36 a.m. — Arrest: Myles Fagan, 27, of Randolph, was arrested following a crash at Cambridge Street and Sixth Street and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Sunday, August 30, 9:20 a.m. — Disturbance Resolved: A dispute over a stolen backpack on Massachusetts Avenue near Pleasant Street was resolved after police identified all parties and returned the property to its owner.
