Waltham Youth Soccer's fall travel season kicked off over the weekend, and Waltham Youth Hockey locked in dates for the return of a power-skating clinic.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Waltham Youth Soccer's Fall 2026 season "got off to a great start," the club said in a Sept. 12 post on its website, confirming that play began Saturday, Sept. 12, following practices that had opened across the league's programs in late August.

Waltham Youth Hockey announced that its Robby Glantz Power Skating clinic is returning to town Monday, Sept. 14, through Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Veterans Memorial Rink. The league said three sessions will run from 5 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. each night, divided into age-appropriate groups assigned the week before the clinics begin, with limited spots available at each level. Glantz has worked with the club's travel skaters for more than five years, according to Waltham Youth Hockey, and has been a power-skating instructor for professional and amateur players worldwide for more than 20 years.
