Tyngsborough Sewer Commission Accepts Vespa Settlement Work, Approves Two Connections

Sewer Commission · Meeting of July 9, 2026

Tyngsborough Sewer Commission accepts Vespa settlement construction work and approves two residential connections. The commission voted unanimously July 9 to accept infrastructure work on Pawtucket Boulevard performed under a 2025 settlement agreement in Vesper Country Club v. Stonehenge Farm Condominium Trust, Land Court Docket No. 22-MISC-000527, with construction completed by Sunshine Paving in April 2026 and oversight by Woodard and Curran.

A separate vote to formally accept the infrastructure into town ownership was deferred to the August 13 meeting, pending final billing from all parties, including resolution of a disputed $30,000-to-$50,000 generator claim from Chateau. The commission also approved sewer connections for 44 Middlesex Road and 35 Ting Road, both unanimously, and authorized a $33,000 spare pump purchase for the Colburn station. Sewer Administrator Kathy Cayer was directed to contact the Massachusetts Department of Revenue's Division of Local Services about whether unused betterment flow allocations can be transferred between property owners, a question Chair Brian J.

Martin said could unlock significant reserved capacity across the system.
