Tyngsborough Seeks Input on Fire Station Project, Launches Leadership Academy

TYNGSBOROUGH — The Town of Tyngsborough is asking residents to weigh in on the future of the proposed Fire Station Project and the Middlesex & Westford Road commercial corridor, while Town Manager Colin Loiselle announced the launch of the third annual Civic Leadership Academy.

TOWN HALL The Select Board and Fire Station Building Committee are seeking community feedback on the Fire Station Project as officials weigh next steps, according to the town's News Flash. A related Fire Station Building Committee Listening Session is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8.

Separately, the town is recruiting residents and local business owners to join the Middlesex & Westford Road Strategic Visioning Committee, a group tasked with helping shape the future of the town's primary commercial corridor.

Town Manager Colin Loiselle also announced the launch of the third annual Civic Leadership Academy, a program aimed at engaging residents in local government and civic affairs, per the town's announcement.

COMING UP The Board of Assessors meets Wednesday, July 8, the same day as the Fire Station Building Committee Listening Session. The Sewer Commission meets Thursday, July 9. A previously scheduled Zoning Board of Appeals meeting for Thursday, July 9, has been cancelled.
