Sudbury Housing Authority certifies year-end books and moves to a single grievance hearing officer. Accountant Jenna Milne told the board Monday that the state program ended the year with unrestricted net assets of $187,658, down from $449,318, after a $145,000 capital contribution to a fire alarm project and heavier turnover work under full staffing. Rental income hit $506,971 against a $495,000 budget, while electricity costs ran $22,000 over budget at $177,000.

The Musketahquid Duplex program netted $193,576 and holds $927,720 in cash. Members unanimously approved shifting from a three-person grievance panel to a single hearing officer, with Executive Director Sheila Cusolito saying "I have active need for a grievance panel, and I don't have one." The board also renewed Milne-Shaw and Robillard's contract at $1,235 per month and approved a $1,575 tenant organization budget. A Sunday pipe burst at 4-6 Landham Road left one unit uninhabitable pending asbestos testing.
