Sudbury Housing Authority approves January checks and sets February 24 meeting on 705 redevelopment. The board unanimously approved January vendor checks and heard that October, November and December financials showed all three authority programs operating in the black. Members confirmed a February 24 special meeting with the Consulting Cambridge Housing Authority to review a draft design-build RFP for the stalled Pine Lakes duplex project, replacing an earlier zero-energy design track.

Pine Lakes resident Carmen Grillo told the board she "vehemently" opposes exterior stairways in the draft designs at 2 Beachwood and 8 Oakwood Avenue. A longtime member said he will not seek another term and asked the board to recruit associate members through the Sudbury Weekly, League of Women Voters and clergy. The Community Preservation Committee approved a separate $600,000 housing trust request, while a Parkinson Field driveway application was voted down as insufficiently engineered.
