Stoneham Files Tax Taking Notice Against 13 Properties
STONEHAM — The town's Office of the Collector of Taxes has filed a formal notice of tax taking against 13 Stoneham properties for non-payment of taxes, the most consequential item to come out of town hall this week.

The Collector of Taxes posted a Notice of Tax Taking covering 13 properties for non-payment of taxes, a step that can lead toward the town acquiring liens on the parcels if the debts go unresolved. The notice is posted on the town's website for the affected owners and the public.
Separately, the Board of Health announced its annual flu clinic for Tuesday, October 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium; residents are asked to register in advance. The town also posted updated hours for the Stevens Street Recycling Center, which will run through November 30.
