Sherborn Board of Health Urges Water Conservation Amid Drought
SHERBORN — Sherborn officials this week asked residents on private wells to watch their water use as an ongoing regional drought continues to lower groundwater levels, with the town's Board of Health standing by to field concerns from well owners.
TOWN HALL The town's official News Flash bulletin warned that continuing drought conditions can cause groundwater elevations to decline, which in turn can affect both the quantity and quality of water drawn from private wells. Officials asked residents with wells to be mindful of how much water they use and to contact the town's Board of Health with any concerns about their well.
COMMUNITY & ARTS The Sherborn Library has pushed back its next Summer Concert Series show. The performance originally set for July 15 will now take place Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m., featuring the band So Lucky.
