Tyngsborough Sewer Commission approves a covenant, hears pitch for 250-unit senior housing project. The board voted unanimously to approve a sewer covenant for 46 Middlesex Road and got its first look at a Wingate-affiliated proposal for 84 Kendall Road, a 250-unit assisted living and independent living development projected to need 35,950 gallons of sewage a day. Sewer Administrator Kathy Cayer said capacity "is not going to be reserved until you pay" and confirmed the town has 307,900 gallons a day left as of October.

The commission also reaffirmed a 20,400-gallon allotment for a stalled Warren Road project pitched by Hawthorne Partners' Scott Cohn, and reviewed three grant options, up to $8.7 million, for a Failings Road-area betterment project ahead of an April deadline. Cayer disclosed she is withholding a business occupancy permit at 130 Middlesex Road over unpaid sewer fees, saying "I did not approve the permit."
