Tyngsborough Sewer Commission clears stalled Middlesex Road hookup, eyes federal grants. The board is weighing a fiscal 2027 federal appropriations request, due April 3, against a roughly $400,000 local match on the Phase 1 East sewer expansion, estimated near $1.9 million overall, calling such earmarks ones where "you don't get those yeses too often." A separate one-week-turnaround grant opportunity from U.S. Rep. Lori Trahan's office, due the following Wednesday, was deemed a tougher fit under its no-new-projects rule.
