Lexington Planning Board continues Wood Street housing hearing to October amid Park Service pushback. The board voted 5-0 to continue its hearing on a 114 Wood Street special residential development, now cut to 15 units from an original 21, to October 7, and extended its decision deadline to October 15. Minuteman National Historical Park's Margie Brown told the board a connector path "is not viable" at the current density and asked for an April, leaf-off view shed study.

Member Michael Schombacher countered that the board should not "isolate the people who potentially would live in this development." Separately, the board voted 5-0 to grant five construction waivers and preliminary approval to a two-lot subdivision at 25 Maple Street, after Planning Director Abby McCabe disclosed a Conservation Commission enforcement order against the applicant over unpermitted fill near wetlands.
