Groton's Planning Board approved a seven-stylist hair salon at 777 Boston Road and a battery energy storage system. Applicant Megan Daly of Fringe Hair Loft described 11 parking spaces plus an ADA space, and the board required downlit signs. The draft decision is to be signed Nov. 19, and Daly still needs the Sewer Commission, which meets the day before Thanksgiving.

The board unanimously approved the Groton Electric Light and Lightshift Energy storage site plan at 600 Cal Pond Brook Road, with an extra condition requested by the co-applicant. It also endorsed ANR plans for 208 North Street and 162 Common Street, the latter noting that its hammerhead lot needs a special permit.
