Mosquito Control Continues Truck Spraying Across Reading
The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project is continuing truck-mounted aerosol spraying to knock back mosquito populations across Reading this summer, Town Hall confirmed in a public update, while the town separately put out a call for resident-submitted photos to refresh its website and social media presence.

The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will keep using a truck-mounted aerosol sprayer in neighborhoods around Reading through the rest of the summer, according to a Town Hall notice. Residents can find the treatment schedule for their area on the town's website.
Town Hall also put out an open call this week for amateur photographers, phone-camera shots included, to submit pictures of Reading for use in an upcoming refresh of the town's website and social media accounts.

Reading Public Schools is spotlighting new Superintendent Dr. Turner on its district website as families gear up for the 2026-27 year, alongside open kindergarten registration and online registration for grades 1 through 12.
