Four New Firefighters Graduate Massachusetts Academy, Join Waltham Department

WALTHAM — Four new Waltham Fire Department members have graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy in Stow, adding fresh recruits to the department's frontline ranks.

The city announced Friday that Firefighters Falzone, Leonard, Shanley and Sullivan completed the academy's 50-day Career Recruit Firefighter Training Program as members of MFA Class #341. The four are now certified and have joined the Waltham Fire Department's frontline operations.
