City officials are advancing plans for a roughly $10.3 million improvement project at Ell Pond Park that would add pickleball courts as part of a broader renovation, Patch reported. The project marks one of the larger capital investments the city has floated for its park system in recent memory.

Separately, the city has launched a new website tool designed to make thousands of public documents easier for residents to search and access, according to Patch. The tool is aimed at improving transparency by giving residents a more direct path to records that had previously been harder to track down.
