Mayor Dumais Names Coastal as New Ambulance Provider
The city has a new emergency ambulance provider, and federal authorities have charged a man in connection with an armed robbery of a cash courier that netted $200,000, according to a report published this week.

Mayor J. Christian Dumais announced that Coastal Medical Transportation Systems will become the city's new provider of emergency ambulance services, according to a press release from the mayor's office. The city also issued a tree-removal notice for Fort Meadow Dam, part of a required dam safety project to clear encroaching trees from the reservoir embankment, and continues to remind residents about updated rates under the Marlborough Community Choice Power Supply municipal aggregation program.
SCHOOLS
Marlborough Public Schools is directing families toward registration for the 2026-2027 school year, with required forms and documentation available through the district's website. The district is also promoting its 2026 Summer Programs and continuing work on the Richer Building Project, according to the district's website.
