Arts Wayland Opens Vendor Registration for October Wayland Fest

Saturday, August 1 — Vokes Players continues its run of "Over the River and Through the Woods," Joe DiPietro's comedy about a bachelor whose Italian-American grandparents scheme to keep him from taking a job in Seattle. The Beatrice Herford's Vokes Theatre production, directed by David Berti, runs through Aug. 8. Arts Wayland's gallery is also showing its members' July-August exhibit alongside a Village Bank exhibit featuring artist Mena Levit.

Thursday, Aug. 6, 7 p.m. — Arts Wayland hosts "Art Circle: What Keeps You Coming Back," a discussion program running to 8:30 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 10 — Applications are due for vendors seeking a table at Wayland Fest 2026, an Oct. 3 event at Wayland Town Center organized by Arts Wayland.

Tuesday, Aug. 11, 7:30 p.m. — Arts Wayland presents "The Songwriter's Woodshed," a music program at its Andrew Avenue gallery.

Monday, Aug. 17, 9:30 a.m. — Arts Wayland runs "Macho Mocha: Coffee & Connection for Men," a social program continuing to 10:30 a.m.

Friday, Aug. 28 — Arts Wayland and Wayland Town Center will host Tap'n'Tunes, an end-of-summer block party featuring the band Seven2Many, newcomer Georgia Raines, and food and drink from Clover Road Brewery. Elissa Avenue will close to traffic for the event, with seating, a splash pool for children and lawn games set up. The gathering also appears on Patch's community calendar as an upcoming Wayland event, "Tap N Tunes," per Wayland Patch.

Saturday, Sept. 26 — Submissions close at 11:59 p.m. for Arts Wayland's next members' art exhibit, set for September.
