Marlborough Hospital Gets $500,000 Gift For Largest-Ever ER Expansion
MARLBOROUGH — A $500,000 gift from a Marlborough-based company is set to fund the largest expansion in Marlborough Hospital's history, according to Marlborough Patch. The news came as Mayor J. Christian Dumais's office named a new leader for the city's fire department and secured fresh grant funding for an ongoing safety study of a deteriorating dam on the Marlborough-Sudbury line.

Mayor J. Christian Dumais announced Monday that Battalion Chief Michael Peckham has been promoted to Assistant Fire Chief of Operations, succeeding former Chief Gogan in the role. The appointment rounds out the Fire Department's senior command staff.
