Hopkinton Library Packs Week With Teen, Volunteer, and Outreach Programs
HOPKINTON — Town Hall and school district channels logged no new announcements in the past 48 hours, making the Hopkinton Public Library's upcoming summer programming the most concrete news on the board for residents this weekend.

The library's calendar is active heading into the holiday stretch. On Sunday, June 29, teens can drop into a YA CreatorSpace Crafternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. in the CreatorSpace classroom. Monday, June 30 brings two back-to-back evening events: a Magic: the Gathering Club session for young adults in the Children's Programming Room from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by the Board of Library Trustees meeting in the Ellsworth Conference Room from 6 to 8 p.m.
The library also has outreach on the calendar: on Tuesday, July 1, staff will make a visit to Fairview Estates from 10 a.m. to noon, and a Quarterly Library Volunteer Interest Orientation is set for 4 p.m. that same afternoon in the Betty Strong Room. The evening of July 1 closes out with an Anime Movie Night for teens, also in the Betty Strong Room, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Residents looking for summer reading picks can explore the library's June 2026 curated lists — covering adult fiction, large print, downloadable titles, and Pride Month selections — available now through the library's website. Library Director Nanci Hill is also accepting applications for the Guest Librarian program; this month's guest is Ian Richardson, Administrative Assistant for the Town Clerk's office and Human Resources.
The library is operating on summer hours through Labor Day: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Sundays.
