Extreme Heat Warning Stays in Effect for Littleton Through Saturday Evening

**Saturday, July 4** — The National Weather Service's Extreme Heat Warning, which took effect Wednesday at 10 a.m., remains in force through 8 p.m. this evening. Residents are encouraged to stay cool, stay hydrated, and limit time outdoors during peak afternoon hours. Littleton Public Safety, working with Elder & Human Services and the town administration, has been monitoring conditions and stands ready to open a cooling center for residents if needed.

**Saturday, July 4** — The Littleton Public Library is closed today in observance of Independence Day. Cardholders who need weekend reading can check out digital titles through the library's online borrowing services; the branch returns to its regular Tuesday–Saturday schedule next week.
