Enterprise Mobility Sign Variance Hearing Continued After Legal Notice Error
BURLINGTON — January 20, 2026 — Burlington sign board continues Enterprise Mobility variance hearing after a legal notice error forced a delay. The board, hearing case 25-18 for 10 Second Ave., was set to weigh a request for relief from the Northwest Park Planned Development District's six-foot sign width limit — Enterprise's application calls for signs measuring nine feet, nine inches wide, covering 30 square feet each, to replace two existing wall signs approved under a 2016 special permit. Permit consultant Heather Dedco, representing National Sign on behalf of Enterprise, said the change amounts to a one-word rebranding from Enterprise Holdings to Enterprise Mobility on nearly identical internally illuminated channel-letter signs. All four members present signaled support, but a square-footage discrepancy in the published legal notice — 29 square feet listed instead of the correct 30 — required the board to vote 4-0 to continue the public hearing to February 17, 2026.
